IN SHELTER

If you’ve ever sat alone during your mornings and thought, “You know what my life needs? A little chaos, definitely more cuddles, and significantly fewer intact stuffed animals,” then Big Mac is ready to complete your order.

This young, lovable goofball is serving up a full combo of fun: lightning-fast tennis ball chases, Olympic-level squeaky toy deconstruction, and a whole lot of heart. Big Mac lives for the simple joys in life, like running full speed after a ball, proudly parading around his latest “toy victory,” and soaking up every bit of attention once he knows you’re one of his people.

Big Mac can be a little shy when he first meets new people, he just likes to take a moment to assess if you’re cool or not. But give him a minute or two, and suddenly you’ve got a loyal, affectionate shadow who is all about love, snuggles, and sticking by your side.

He’s a social guy overall! Big Mac enjoys the company of most other dogs and can even share space with dog-savvy cats who understand his playful energy. He’s also a big fan of all life’s adventures like hikes, car rides, and yes… politely (or not-so-politely) requesting snacks from his humans. He will shoot his shot for your fries. Every time.

Because his tummy can be a bit sensitive, Big Mac is currently on a food blend to keep him feeling his best, which means fewer tummy troubles and more time for the important things, like zoomies and fun.

Big Mac is looking for a home that’s ready to show him what the good life is all about. He’d love a family who will continue his training, help him build confidence, and most importantly, keep a steady supply of tennis balls on hand.

If you’re ready for a playful, affectionate, slightly mischievous best friend with a big personality to match his name, Big Mac is ready to meet you.

Warning: Side effects of adopting Big Mac may include excessive laughter, missing stuffed animals, and never eating snacks alone again.

Note, the adoption fee for a pet adopted from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption veterinary exam at a local clinic.
