Mindy
She’s not mean, you’re just not meeting her expectations.
IN SHELTER
At 10 years young, Mindy has fully embraced her “retired but still dramatic” era. She’s carrying a little extra… okay, a generous amount of extra fluff, but she prefers the term “luxuriously plush.” More to love, more to pet, and frankly, more presence when she enters a room, which she will do loudly.
Mindy is a proud card-carrying member of the Tortitude Club™ and believes in clear communication:
Too much attention? Hiss + gentle paw bap (no claws, she’s not a monster).
Not enough attention? Prepare for a full-volume opera performance paired with aggressive leg rubs until you comply.
We think she suffers from a very serious condition known as “Affection Uncertainty Disorder.” To be pet or not to be pet? Mindy doesn’t know, and honestly, neither will you. Watching her commit to absolutely no decisions is part of her charm.
But when Mindy does decide it’s love time…it’s LOVE TIME. This spicy meatball melts into the sweetest, cuddliest girl. She enjoys scratches, playtime, and will even tolerate being held like the chonky baby she is (for a limited and unexpected period of time, of course).
Her hobbies include devouring tube treats like it’s a competitive sport, attacking wand toys with surprising enthusiasm and grace, engaging in high-stakes games of toy mouse chase (duration: 30 seconds, followed by a snack break, and yelling her strong and questionable opinions into the void (you are the void).
Mindy is looking for a home that understands that love sometimes comes with a side of sass. Someone who appreciates a cat with personality, boundaries, and a built-in commentary track.
If you’re ready for a cat who will keep you laughing, keep you on your toes, and occasionally grace you with top-tier snuggles… Mindy is waiting.
