Lionel
In no particular order, Lionel loves cats, toys, pets, and scratches!
Lionel is an athletic cat who loves to play with toys and cats but can make some time for pets and scratches. When he first arrived in the shelter, we were convinced he would need plenty of time to get over his nervousness. It turns out all he needed was the right roommate to show him the ropes.
Lionel and JJ spend lots of their time play fighting in their cat room, jumping up and down their cat tree, and racing across the room. They are the best of buds and even share an interest in dogs, enjoying watching them when they are in the lobby.
Lionel’s adoptive home will need to be ready for an active cat, who loves to climb and play. Having another cat that can keep up with him would be amazing so he has a friend he can play with. Despite his interest in dogs, a slow introduction will be important to make sure that they can coexist.
