Dorothy
Dorothy is a very chatty catty…she always has a lot to say!
Dorothy is a gentle, loving cat who has been waiting patiently for her forever home. This sweet girl has a calm and relaxed demeanor, making her an excellent companion for families or individuals looking for a low-maintenance yet affectionate pet. Dorothy has been thriving in her foster home, where she has shown her true colours as a wonderful addition to any household.
She gets along beautifully with children and doesn’t mind being picked up. Dorothy has never displayed aggression, except for her humorous dislike of the vacuum, which she prefers to admire from a safe distance. She enjoys meeting new people and quickly wins over everyone with her friendly nature. While Dorothy is quite independent and enjoys doing her own thing, she does appreciate a daily snuggle to stay connected with her humans.
Playtime is another of Dorothy’s favourite pastimes, as she loves engaging in interactive games. She is also very food-motivated, so her new family will need to ensure that snacks are kept in secure locations. Dorothy’s foster family has shared how much they’ve loved having her around and believes she would be a great first cat for anyone. While she seems comfortable being the center of attention, Dorothy may also do well with another cat in the home, especially if she’s given time to adjust to her role as the resident feline.
