Cocoa is nervous of loud noises and people, but sweet once she gets to know you.
**IN FOSTER**
Cocoa is a shy and stand-offish dog at first, and is slow to trust, but once she trusts you she’s a cuddly pup who loves her people. In her foster home she has grown accustomed to a daily routine and has done really well with a consistent schedule. She has had no issues with house training, and the only mess was when she didn’t get outside quite quick enough.
She has been loving the other dogs that she is in foster with, and would love her future home to have a canine friend. When she goes outside, it’s play time and she will play tag with the other dogs, running in circles around the yard. She has also started digging in the yard, but responds well when told to stop.
Cocoa loves love LOVES her daily walks and is doing very well with leash training. If you’re an active family, she’d fit right in!
Note, the adoption fee for a pet adopted from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption veterinary exam at a local clinic.
