When Boaz first came into care, he had a broken hip and needed an FHO surgery to get him back on the road to recovery. Fast forward through surgery, healing, and a whole lot of TLC, and you would never know this boy had been through it! Boaz has made an incredible recovery and is back to doing all the things he loves, including climbing to the highest possible vantage point to supervise everyone below. Because apparently, having hip surgery does NOT mean Boaz has any intention of giving up his love of heights!

Boaz is an exceptionally smart and social guy who genuinely enjoys being around people. In fact, he’s so clever that he already knows some tricks! He’s the kind of cat who wants to be involved, figure things out, and show you just how impressive he is. He’s curious, interactive, affectionate, and always seems ready to see what’s happening next.

He’s also a fantastic feline roommate and gets along wonderfully with other cats. With his social personality, we think he could likely do well in a home with cat-savvy dogs who understand that cats are roommates, not wrestling partners.

Boaz may have had a rough start, but he certainly isn’t letting it define him. He’s smart, confident, playful, social, and completely ready to put his past behind him and get on with the important business of being a cat, climbing things, learning tricks, making friends, and finding someone to love.
