Her name may catch you off guard, but this beautiful young girl is really just a sensitive sweetheart looking for someone to love her as fiercely as she’ll love you! 

Belladonna came to us after being rescued from some really scary circumstances. She was being repeatedly attacked by some community pack dogs, and while she’s here to tell the “tail” those experiences have left her understandably a little uncertain about the canine world. She is quite fearful around them, and feels the need to protect herself. With time and consistency, we suspect she can overcome this, but she can’t be rushed into socializing. 

She’s learning about cats, and that cats have claws, and doing well! But again, patience and consistency is key!

People though, oh my goodness does this girl love her people! She is instant love and butt wiggles for her people! She’s so gentle, loves a good snuggle session! 

She’s looking for a safe, patient person and entirely ALL the belly rubs that exist. 

Note, the adoption fee for a pet adoption from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption exam at a local clinic.
