Sashay is a young calico who has perfected feline cattiness and turned it into an art form. She is beautiful, dramatic, opinionated, and completely convinced that the universe exists primarily for her convenience.

Sashay is not the kind of cat who is down for random affection. Oh no. She schedules it. She will tell you when she wants attention, where she wants it, how she wants it delivered, and most importantly when you have exceeded your allotted petting privileges. Failure to respect the terms and conditions may result in a hiss of dissatisfaction, a dramatic exit, and/or the unmistakable feeling that you have somehow disappointed her ancestors.

The rest of the time? Please admire her from a respectful distance. She is perfectly happy to be the stunning centerpiece of your household while you quietly appreciate her magnificence from across the room.

Sashay is looking for a home that understands that boundaries are not suggestions they are law. Her future humans will need to respect her personal space, let her make the first move, and accept that her expectations may be completely unreasonable. In exchange, you may occasionally be granted the privilege of affection… and honestly, you’ll probably feel pretty special when you are.

She’s young, gorgeous, gloriously dramatic, and has enough personality to fill an entire house.

Note, the adoption fee for a pet adoption from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption exam at a local clinic.
