Crush
Orange you glad we didn’t name him Banana!
IN SHELTER
Crush recently arrived from the pound looking a little less “freshly poured” and a little more “left in the back of the fridge.” Years (or at least weeks) of tangles and mats had him feeling a bit flat, so he treated himself to the ultimate refresh. After a full grooming makeover, Crush is now rocking a spectacular lion cut that leaves him looking like the mascot for a very fancy orange soda company.
You might expect a cat with a mane like that to be fierce, wild, and ready to rule the jungle. Instead, Crush has all the intimidation factor of a warm glass of orange pop left out overnight. This boy is sweet, gentle, and about as threatening as a soda can.
We’re still getting to know Crush since he’s brand new to our care, but so far he’s been absolutely delightful. Every day we’re discovering a little more of his personality, and every day he seems to find a new way to make us smile. If first impressions are anything to go by, this guy is overflowing with sweetness and just waiting to fizz his way into someone’s heart.
His fur will grow back in time, but honestly? We think the lion-cut era is kind of iconic. It gives him that limited-edition packaging look. Collectors’ item, if you will.
So if your life feels a little flat, maybe what you need is a Crush. He’s sweet, refreshing, lightly carbonated, and guaranteed to add a little extra sparkle to your day.
Side effects of adopting Crush may include increased smiling, spontaneous baby talk, and finding orange fur in places you didn’t know orange fur could reach.
