Detour

Meet Detour, a handsome grey gentleman who appears to have taken a few unexpected turns on his journey through life.

We’re not entirely sure where his navigation went wrong, but somewhere along the way, Detour seems to have wandered down a side road, missed an exit, or followed a GPS that was giving some very questionable directions. Whatever happened, he eventually found himself arriving at the pound with a collection of scuffs, scrapes, and battle scars that suggest his travels may have been a little more adventurous than he intended.

The good news? His journey led him here.

Despite looking like he’s been through a few road construction zones, Detour is made entirely of love. Seriously. Underneath the scratches and scars is one of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet. He doesn’t seem interested in holding grudges about wherever he’s been or whatever trouble he found himself in. Instead, he’s focused on the important things in life: affection, attention, and making friends with the humans around him.

Detour may have taken the scenic route to get here, but we think he ended up exactly where he was meant to be. Now he’s looking for a home where the only adventures ahead involve sunny windows, cozy naps, and plenty of love.
