Don’t let the face fool you — Ratchet may look like he woke up on the wrong side of the litter box, but this boy is actually one of the sweetest, most affectionate cats you’ll ever meet.

Ratchet is a dusty brown tabby with serious character. His permanently grumpy expression (resting grump face, if you will) gives him the look of a tough guy… but underneath that rugged exterior is a total softie who absolutely loves people. He’s the kind of cat who happily soaks up attention, leans in for pets, and makes himself right at home with his humans.

Life on the streets has given Ratchet a few unique features that make him extra special. He sports a charming little mole on the side of his face, along with a few ear nicks and notches that tell the story of his earlier adventures. Instead of taking away from his looks, they just add to his one-of-a-kind charm — like a distinguished gentleman who’s lived a little.

Note, the adoption fee for a pet adopted from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption veterinary exam at a local clinic
