**IN FOSTER**

Pop is thriving in foster care, enjoying playtime with the fosters 3-year-old, dogs, and other animals. His housetraining is progressing remarkablyβ€”he now signals by heading to the back door to go out, and poop accidents are a thing of the past. Overnight and during times the foster has to leave for short times, Pop remains accident-free in his kennel. Although he initially whined at bedtime, he now settles in quietly after less than a minute, a positive change from his earlier barking habits. While he can be a bit nibbly during play, the foster’s dogs handle it well.

He is still cautious on leash walks, particularly around passing vehicles, but feels secure heading back home. In the backyard, he’s mastered the art of play, joining in tag with his foster sibling and embracing the joy of running.

Pop’s love for toys and chews is evident, with tug o’ war becoming a favourite pastime with one of the foster’s dogs.

Note, the adoption fee for a pet adopted from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption veterinary exam at a local clinic.
