Pax
His name says it all; Peace. There’s no dog more deserving!
**Will be available for adoption in the coming weeks, accepting pre-applications for adoption**
Pax is a name that means peace, and for this resilient young dog, peace is more than just a word—it’s his hope for the future. He’s affectionately known as Lenny by his fosters and social media followers! His journey has not been easy. Pax has endured hardships that no dog should ever have to face, including surviving a devastating attack that left both physical and emotional scars. But despite it all, there is a quiet strength in him, and a light that refuses to go out.
In his foster home, Pax is learning what safety feels like. He’s discovering that hands can bring comfort, that voices can carry kindness, and that the world can still be gentle. He’s beginning to trust again—one step, one moment, one day at a time. With patience, love, and understanding, Pax has already begun to blossom, showing glimpses of the dog he longs to be: a playful, friendly, companion who can rest easy, knowing he is safe and loved.
What Pax needs soon is a forever family who can give him the space to continue healing. A home that understands that peace takes time, and that love—steady, unwavering, and kind—can rebuild even the most wounded spirit. In return, Pax will give you something rare and beautiful: the chance to witness resilience transform into joy, and to see a soul find its way home.
