Hopscotch
Who needs four legs when you’re this cute!?
Life threw Hopscotch a curveball (or maybe someone just missed a square and threw her off), but this cutie patootie tri-paw hasn’t missed a beat since! After an injury led to the amputation of her front right leg, Hopscotch has bounced back—literally—with more grace, confidence, and mischief than we could have anticipated.
She’s currently in foster care, rocking her recovery and her custom couture sweaters. Don’t think for a second that being down one leg means she’s going to be slower or calmer —Hopscotch climbs, plays, and pounces with full-speed and four-legged enthusiasm! When she’s not showing off her athletic side, she’s a full-time cuddle bug who believes pets should never, ever end. Even if your hand starts cramping up from all the tummy scritches and head scratches, she’ll reach out with her one perfect little front paw to politely (okay, demandingly) request more.
Hopscotch’s purr motor runs non-stop too—seriously, she might be in line for Guinness records at this point. She does well around other cats, and while she’s still deciding whether her canine foster sibling is friend or foe, she’s handling it like a champ.
She’s still finishing up her healing and will be spayed before heading off to her forever home—but trust us, this little hop star is worth the wait.
Because in Hopscotch’s world, less is more, and three legs is all she needs to climb her way into your heart
