Gigi
Gigi is a energetic and playful dog, but is a little nervous of men.
Gigi is a playful dog but will need a slow approach to earn her trust.
Being a nervous dog, Gigi is scared of lots of things, loud noises, quick movements, and men, are just a few of them. What she is not scared of are cats and dogs, she’s always trying to play with her foster’s dog, and while she’s mostly good with cats, she can get over-excited and try to chase them. She has been very drawn to children recently, and gets very excited to meet them.
We’re happy to say Gigi has been improving in her foster home and is showing just how awesome she will be in her adoptive home. She has started becoming less glued to her foster and will go off and spend time chewing on a toy or playing with her feeder ball in another room. She also also been making improvements when it comes to her separation anxiety, slowly being able to spend more time alone, but she will still need more training to ensure she doesn’t slip back into old habits.
Gigi will need a patient home, that will help her grow and overcome her shyness. Having a woman or children in the house would help her adjust the best to a new home as she is nervous about men. Having another dog her age would be a massive plus, as she absolutely loves cuddling and playing with other canines.
