Frito is a gentle little soul who prefers to take his time getting to know the world. He’s the kind of cat who likes to quietly observe from a cozy, safe spot—just watching, learning, and making sure everything checks out first.

Don’t be discouraged though, once Frito feels comfortable, his sweet nature really shines. He absolutely enjoys attention, as long as it’s given slowly and on his terms. A soft voice, a gentle hand, and a little patience go a long way with this boy, and he’ll reward you with calm, tender moments of connection.

Frito is incredibly polite and easygoing, never one to demand the spotlight. He’s happiest in a peaceful environment where he can build trust at his own pace and simply be near his people, even if it’s from a short (and very respectful) distance.

With a little time and understanding, Frito will blossom into a loyal, loving companion—the kind who makes every bit of patience feel completely worth it.

Note, the adoption fee for a pet adopted from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption veterinary exam at a local clinic
