IN SHELTER

Well, butter my biscuit and call us impressed! Daisy Duke is a medium-sized Southern belle with a whole lot of sass, a whole lot of smarts, and absolutely ZERO plans to slow down just because she’s six!

Don’t let her age deceive you, Daisy is still very much a go-go-GO kind of girl! She’s active, adventurous, and ready to turn every day into an exciting new chapter. Whether she’s exploring the great outdoors, heading out on an adventure, or keeping you company while you tackle your to-do list, Daisy is happiest when she’s got something to do and someone to do it with. And speaking of someone, her favourite someone is YOU! Daisy absolutely adores people and would love a family who appreciates having a devoted, enthusiastic companion by their side.

One big thing about our Daisy girl, she’s not just a pretty face with a motor that won’t quit. This lady has brains to match her boundless energy! She’s incredibly intelligent, loves learning new things, and genuinely enjoys having opportunities to put that clever little noggin to work. Training sessions, puzzle toys, learning new tricks, scent games, and other brain-busting activities? Sign her right up! Daisy would thrive with someone who sees mental enrichment as just as important as physical exercise. Give her a challenge, and she’ll give it her best shot!

When it comes to four-legged company, Daisy has a bit of a preference. She tends to pair well with male dogs, while female canine companions aren’t quite her cup of tea. She may be perfectly happy being your one-and-only princess, or she could make a wonderful addition to a home with a compatible gentleman dog after a proper introduction.

So, if you’re looking for a dog who’s past the puppy shenanigans but still has plenty of pep in her step, a big heart, and a brain that’s always ready for its next assignment, Daisy Duke might just be your girl! She’s got the experience, the enthusiasm, and the personality to make every day a little brighter.

Note, the adoption fee for a pet adoption from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption exam at a local clinic.
