Strike up the band, because Banjo is ready to play his way into your heart! This big, handsome black-and-white boy may start off a little shy, but once he has an opportunity to warm up, he’s all about love, affection, and plenty of belly rubs.

Banjo is declawed, which means his stage is indoors only. That doesn’t stop him from practicing his “air guitar” (or at least some very convincing pretend scratching) and seeking out the highest possible perch to perform from. He’s got distinguished markings that give him real star power, but it’s his sweet and goofy personality that will keep you clapping for an encore.

He does have some unique notes to his care. Banjo is prone to urinary crystals, so he’ll need to stay on a special, vet-recommended diet to keep him healthy and happy. Think of it as an investment in your bandmate’s well-being—it’s the ticket to keeping him playing strong for years to come.

Banjo is a little selective with feline company and not really a fan of dogs, he’s a one-cat show who’s more than ready to take center stage in your home. If you’re looking for a charming, affectionate companion who’s equal parts silly and soulful, Banjo is ready to strum his way into your life.

Note, the adoption fee for a pet adopted from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption veterinary exam at a local clinic.
