Meet Boonie, a stunning Tortie who never got the memo that she’s not a baboon.

The name Boonie was created from “Baboon” because this little lady had a full tail amputation as a kitten, leaving her with an adorably bare behind, but absolutely no loss of confidence!

Boonie is sweet, friendly, social, and loud. If you talk to her, she talks back. If you look at her, she’ll share her opinions. If there’s a bird outside the window she WILL be providing live commentary of the goings on.

She gets along pretty well with other cats and does well in sharing her space with feline friends. She’s also recently discovered catnip, which has taken her already questionable baboon energy to an entirely new level.

But underneath the chaos is an incredibly loving, affectionate girl who just wants to be part of the action.

Note, the adoption fee for a pet adoption from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption exam at a local clinic.
