Every great show needs a star, and this leading lady is ready for her big debut.

Meet Millie, a lovable young pup with a personality that’s impossible to ignore. She’s convinced the world revolves around belly rubs, cuddles, and making new human friends. Honestly, we’re not here to argue with her. If you’re sitting down, Millie assumes you’ve reserved a spot for her. If you’re standing up, she’s happy to remind you that she’s there with you and deserves attention more than whatever you’re currently doing!

We’re still getting to know this sweet girl while she’s recovering from her recent spay surgery, so her full personality is still unfolding. One thing we do know? Millie has plenty of energy waiting to burst out once she’s cleared to play! We haven’t had the chance to see her zoom around with other dogs just yet, but so far she doesn’t seem particularly bothered by dogs or cats in the shelter environment.

Millie definitely has a flair for the dramatic (in the most adorable way). She enjoys being the center of attention, isn’t shy about asking for affection, and has perfected the art of making you feel awful for leaving her alone for 5 minutes despite marathon snuggle sessions. She’ll happily soak up every compliment you have to offer and would love a family that’s ready to include her in all of life’s adventures.

As we continue learning more about her, one thing is already crystal clear: Millie has a huge heart, an even bigger personality, and enough love to keep your couch permanently occupied.

Note, the adoption fee for a pet adoption from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption exam at a local clinic.
