Walter
A gentle old soul whose pension is bones and belly rubs!
IN FOSTER
Walter is a distinguished gentleman with a kind heart, a wagging tail, and the warmest soul you could hope to meet. At 8 years young, Walter is the very definition of a good boy: patient, polite, and endlessly sweet. He greets everyone he meets with happy barks and full-body tail wags, always excited to say hello and make a new friend.
Walter is wonderfully well-rounded. He does beautifully with other dogs, cats, and kids of all ages, is fully housetrained, walks nicely on leash, and knows his basic manners. He listens well, takes direction kindly, and seems to understand that life is best lived calmly and with love. At around 35 pounds, he’s the perfect smaller-sized companion — easy to cuddle, easy to walk, and easy to adore.
Like any refined older gentleman, Walter may prefer to leave his nail care to the professionals (we all deserve a spa day now and then), but truly, he is the whole package. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will greet you every day with joy, patience, and unwavering kindness, Walter is ready to settle into his forever home and love you with his whole heart.
