That’s a wrap on our 2023 Open House! This is the first time in a long time that we’ve invited our sponsors, donors, fosters, volunteers, supporters, and community members to pop in and learn more about what we do and how we serve the community.
Thirty-five people came to enjoy the tour with many more expressing interest in the future. Board members and fundraising committee volunteers shared data on adoptions, building features and dreams, stories about our many animals, and some details of our strategic plan to engage, sustain, inspire, and grow! We were excited to field so many thoughtful questions and had the opportunity to thank many of the people who help the shelter continue its mission.
We look forward to hosting another and we’re so excited to see such invested and heartfelt dialogue. Thank you!
