Patti
Patti is a resilient little lady waiting for a chance to fully blossom.
This beautiful, independent cat had a rough start in life. Born feral, she started life wary of humans, learning to keep her distance from the busy world around her.
She faced yet another challenge when she suffered a broken leg. She overcame this as well, and learned to trust humans a little more in the process of healing.
She’s learning every day that people can be ok and that love and patience can help her heal. Though she’s still quite shy and unsure, she’s made great strides in learning to trust. She’s a quiet soul who needs a patient, gentle person willing to give her the time she needs to grow into a loving companion.
She’s already shown us how much of a snuggle bug she can be here in the shelter! She loves lots of belly rubs, head scritches and full body pets! In return, she’ll knead you the tastiest loaf of air dough you’ve ever had!
She would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where she can continue her journey toward becoming a confident and fear-free feline. She hasn’t had interactions with dogs, but given her past we suspect it would be a difficult transition for her. She will warm up with other cats given plenty of time to adjust. With the right person by her side, she has the potential to be a loyal, lifetime friend. All she needs is a little extra time, understanding, and a safe space to grow.
