Being a sweetheart is hard work, but Nikkita pulls it off without trouble. Despite her size, Nikkita is a very gentle and friendly dog, doing very well with children and seniors. Pets and scratches are the keys to her heart, and along with some treats, she will do her best to please.
Β
Nikkita has done very well with other dogs and seems to be okay with cats as well. As always a slow introduction is recommended to make sure that she has the best outcome with other animals. Her adoptive home will need to understand the needs of a big dog with lots of energy…she’ll need regular exercise to keep her energy levels in check.
Note, the adoption fee for a pet adopted from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption veterinary exam at a local clinic.
