Guppy
Know the saying “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”?? Meet Guppy!
Guppy may look like a grumpy old Scrooge who’s about to charge you rent just for looking at him, but please don’t let the face fool you! Beneath that permanently unimpressed, eye twitching expression is one of the sweetest, most affectionate old boys you’ll ever meet. Putting his best face forward just isn’t really Guppy’s thing—he lets his personality do the work!
This big, lovable boy came to us in rough shape: painfully matted, with a mouth full of dental issues. We gave him a fresh (very questionable) haircut and a much needed dental overhaul—he’s now rocking far less fur and far fewer teeth, but way more comfort.
Despite his rough past and even rougher haircut, Guppy is a total cuddlebug. He loves people, laps, and being spoiled like the big ol’ prince he truly is. He gets along with other cats given a little time to adjust, but would prefer a dog-free kingdom where he can retire in peace.
Guppy’s ideal home? Somewhere with cozy spots for naps, regular meals, gentle scritches, and humans who can see past his resting Scrooge face to the sweet marshmallow inside.
