Ernie is the Dog of the Week for February 18 – 24!
Big Ernie is always ready to meet new people and smother them with love. From the moment you first meet this big guy you’ll know, the only thing he wants is to be your best friend. When in his kennel he pushes right up against the bars, giving easy access to give him plenty of scratches.
Once he’s outside his first goal is to try and give you a big doggy hug, then lay as many kisses as possible upon your face. After a few minutes, when he’s had a chance to calm down a little…it’s belly rub time, and he will quickly and easily roll over for his favourite reward.
Though he can be selective he has been known to be fine with both dogs and cats, a slow intro is just recommended.
