Duchess
Duchess is an easy-going, low maintenance cat with the sweetest soul!
Duchess is a cat who lives up to her name in every way. She carries herself with the confidence and grace of true royalty, making it clear that she’s the one in charge.
Having spent time in foster over the holidays, it was confirmed that Duchess LOVES attention and pets. She will run to you, rub against your leg, and get as close as she can if it means she can get more pets! In fact, she loves getting pets so much, she would choose them over treats! That’s not to be mistaken for snuggles…she likes affection, but it MUST be on her own terms. Picking her up is an absolute no-no!
In her foster home, she made an unlikely friend…a hedgehog! You could often find the two of them snuggling together under a heat lamp during naptime. She was unsure about the other cats and dogs in the foster home!
She will thrive in a home where her independence and confidence are appreciated!
