Cantaloupe is a typical kitten. Playing is awesome! Napping is awesome! Snuggles are awesome! What’s not SO awesome is new people and things, then she needs a bit of time to warm up. When she does, it’s awesome too!
Having a kitty friend in her new home would be a big help to her confidence. She hasn’t spent much time around dogs or kids, so as long as she has time to get used to these new things without any pressure she’ll be good in no time.
Note, the adoption fee for a pet adopted from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption veterinary exam at a local clinic.
