Scarlett is your typical young pup; very bouncy and playful!  She loves to run around and play with all kinds of toys.  Because of her majestic floof, she does overheat quickly, but she loves to play or lay in water, so her new family should have at least a kiddie pool for her to play in.  When she isn’t playing, she loves a good snuggle session…she’s quite the spooner!

Scarlett is still young, so she will need some work on basic life skills and puppy behaviours.  She will jump when excited and over-stimulated, but she is fairly gentle about it.  With patience and consistency, she will learn to be more relaxed!

Not sure about how a new dog will fit in with your family?  Consider fostering Scarlett for a few weeks!  Fostering with the intention to adopt is a great way to see how Scarlett fits in before making things official.  While fostering, you’ll have full support from the PVHS for medical, behavioural, and supply needs!  To get started, fill in a Foster Application!

Note, the adoption fee for a pet adopted from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption veterinary exam at a local clinic.
