Riggins

Large Breed
February 2022

Riggins is a young man who has had a rough few months.  He came to us with a broken leg which required a long recovery time.  His leg has healed well, but we’re still monitoring it to make sure there are no complications.

We don’t know his history, but we have learned that he is somewhat wary of new people and environments; he needs some help building up his confidence.  Once he feels comfortable though, watch out…he’s very affectionate!  After he warms up to his new environment, he is a very curious doggo.

The most important thing that Riggins needs is someone who has patience to help him through this tough time…and LOTS of snuggles!

Want to help dogs like Riggins?  Consider volunteering with the Pembina Valley Humane Society!  We need people for all roles throughout the shelter.  Learn more today!

Note, the adoption fee for a pet adopted from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption veterinary exam at a local clinic.
