If Loki looks familiar, it’s because he was in our care last year. Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, he is back at the PVHS and looking for the perfect home to call his own.
Loki is a very outgoing, energetic boy who would love nothing more than to be adopted to an active family to keep him busy and take him on adventures! He is sweet and cuddly…a gentle giant most of the time. Loki has shown himself to be good with kids and cats, but will need a slow introduction to other dogs.
When overstimulated, Loki tends to get jumpy. He also needs to learn a bit of patience when making new friends. He has good recall, and has mastered come, sit, lay down, and shake, however, he will need some work on his leash skills.
Dogs like Loki would greatly benefit from spending time in a foster home to help start them on the right path with their new families. It also helps us get a better idea of their personality in a home, which helps us find their perfect humans! Become a foster today and make a difference in the life of a shelter dog.
