Large Breed
February 2022
Lasagna has experienced a lot in his just under one year; he was purchased from a backyard breeder at about four weeks of age, and spent most of his time tied up outside. He hasn’t received a lot of training, and will need an experienced owner who can help him learn how to properly dog!
In the time that he has been in the shelter, he has shown us to be a very goofy and silly boy. He seems to be a very happy young man who loves to explore the outdoors; playing and wrestling in the snow is his favourite thing to do! Lasagna travels well in a vehicle and can sit like a pro.
Lasagna tends to jump and mouth when overstimulated. He has some resource guarding and has issues when there is a barrier between himself and what he wants to get at. Our team has been working on these issues with him and his new adoptive family will need to continue with this essential training. Our staff is available after adoption to support Lasagna’s new family in the transition!
