* IN FOSTER *
Meet our majestic floof, Poppy. She is as soft and as fluffy as she looks!
Since coming into our care, she has been in foster. Here’s what they have to say about their houseguest:
Poppy has settled in nicely. She is a fully independent cat, does not need a lot of attention and when she does it is only on her terms. She makes it known when she wants a pet but isn’t overly pushy about it. She sleeps out in the open now, which to me indicates she is no longer overly scared. She uses the litter box without fail and is quite fastidious about it.
Poppy loves her toys, especially the “fishing pole” types, and we have decided she is an air cat…she wants the toy in the air, and not dragging along the ground. Maybe she is a bird cat rather than a mouse cat? She is always ready to play! Poppy also loves to watch the squirrel that lives under the bird feeder at her foster home.
She is a bit of a picky eater, so it’ll take some trial and error to find her favourite food! Her fosters tell us that she has not attempted to eat (or shown any interest) any food on the counter…although she enjoys sitting on the counter watching the tap run. She’s fascinated by running water!
Her fosters say that she would be a great addition to a dog free home, and is a wonderful and entertaining companion!
