Domestic Short Hair
Missy may be an older gal, but she is a sweet girl who very much deserves a loving family with which to live out her senior years. She may look grumpy in photos, but she recently had dental work (the vets needed to remove nine teeth!) and wouldn’t you be too? She may need more dental work in the future, but right now she has a clean bill of health.
Despite that, she is a happy girl whose favourite thing in the world to do is cuddle. It does take her a little while to warm up to new people, but once she does she wants all of your attention! Missy is doing well with her foster feline sibling, albeit a bit shy, but the resident cat is very outgoing…a more chill cat in the home might be more of Missy’s speed.
From her foster family: “She is playing lots, last night she played with a fuzzy ball for 45 minutes straight. Cuddling is still her favourite, though. She is getting more confident, she is still a bit skittish, but I was surprised to see that when we were showing our house to a family with kids, she let the (rambunctious) kids pet her. The one kid said “I cuddled with her for a long time.”
