Adoptable Cats

Joey + Milo

Bonded Pair
April 2021

* IN FOSTER *

Joey + Milo are a bonded pair, who love each other so very much!  We will want them to be adopted together, so they can live together and be happy for the rest of their days.  Milo (short hair) and Joey (long hair) go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Milo is very playful and curious and loves to wrestle with Joey.  He is showing interest in making friends with other cats and dogs.  He does love cuddles, as long as they are on his own terms.  Their foster tells us that he is a very affectionate and people-centred cat, who is curious, playful, and tolerable to any handling.  He’s a good combination of playful and chill!

Joey is very laid-back and affectionate, although shy when you first meet him…he can be a bit edgy with sudden movements and noises. He loves a soft, cozy bed on which to curl up!  His favourite toy is Milo haha

Since coming into our care, both Joey and Milo have been experiencing skin concerns.  We have been working on solving the problem, but we believe that the primary culprit is shelter-induced anxiety and stress.  In the time that they have been in foster, there has been very little anxious behaviour or scratching.  Milo is on daily anti-anxiety medication.

Note, the adoption fee for a pet adopted from the Pembina Valley Humane Society includes their spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines and boosters, and a post-adoption veterinary exam at a local clinic.

Adoption Fee: $100 / pair
