* IN FOSTER *
Our super trooper Jam is ready to find his new home!
Jam was adopted from the PVHS in 2021, but was found earlier this year in terrible condition. At only 2 years old, he had to have all of his teeth removed in two separate dental surgeries. He was very thin and had several wounds on his body. He had been left to fend for himself by his former owners, but we are grateful for the wonderful woman who found him and took him in to allow him to heal.
His recovery was long, but we are excited to help him with the next chapter of his life! He has a chronic upper respiratory infection that will never go away, but with proper monitoring and regular vet checks he will have many long years to make someone happy. Jam would greatly benefit from a home with other pets!
His recuperation has been with a fantastic foster who has this to say: “Jam has been great! He has gained so much of his weight back he’s looking so healthy with his new shiny coat and healthy meat on his bones.
Jam loves to play and wrestle with his sister puppy Kona, but still isn’t sure about other dogs just yet, still a bit timid towards them. He is the most friendly and cuddly cat! He loves to be nearby (usually sleeping on our chests or laps). Jam’s favourite place in the world in on a fuzzy blanket in a sunbeam…and of course a nap is a necessity!”
