Marco + Indigo
Marco and Indigo are a bonded pair, and their combined adoption fee has been reduced!
Marco + Indigo are a bonded pair, and we can’t bear the thought of one them being adopted without the other! But hey, double the fun, right?
When Marco first came into our care, he wasn’t terribly interested in people…and now he sticks to them like glue! He’s always checking in and wanting to be close by. He’s a silly, happy, high energy dog who loves to play. Our volunteers are working hard to teach him some basic life skills, but he’d rather do fun stuff like chase his sister Indigo around the yard. Marco walks well on a leash and loves to stop and smell everything. If you approach him too quickly, or if he’s unsure, he will crouch down but with a little bit of gentle reassurance he’ll keep going.
Indigo as well has really come around to people, and she absolutely adores walks! However, she can get a bit distracted…when one of our volunteers tried to leash her, Indigo plopped down on her lap and her tail wouldn’t stop wagging! Like a typical husky, she can be a bit mischievous and stubborn. She also has more energy than Marco…sometimes when he is tired, she will grab and pull his tail to get him to keep playing. Indigo is a joyful, energetic girl who loves running and playing. Though she’s still learning, her enthusiasm for treats makes her a quick learner—teaching her new skills will be a fun and rewarding experience!
