In 2013, the Robert P. Dunn Foundation was founded as a way of both honouring the namesake, and contributing to long-term, sustainable funding for the Pembina Valley Humane Society. This is an opportunity for individuals to make a long-term investment in PVHS through an individual, charitable donation.
The Foundation is administered through the Investor’s Group Strategic Charitable Giving Program.
PVHS receives 100% of the Foundation’s funding.
Every March the Foundation pays out 4% of its value (based on the account’s year-end market value).
Charitable donation receipts are mailed out directly to the donor from the Investors Group Charitable Giving Program.
Donations can be sent by cheques payable to: ‘Strategic Charitable Giving Foundation’, memo: Robert P. Dunn Foundation.
